Well, this is the start of our 'book'. The first chapter is very picturesque. The start of the big trip of '99 begins on Monday, January 11, 1999. This leg of the trip only has five of us taking off. David's part of this leg is mostly that of 'driver of trailer', which we just picked up two days prior to our departure.
The adventure begins! This is all of us before we go. Note: Heather Lynn is not going on this leg, but we had to include her! Weather looks nice, eh?
We have to stop three different nights .. this is the second night:

Finally, we arrive in Hilton Head .. here is a picture of the resort we will be staying at when we return, for now this is just the place we drop off the trailer:

Well, here we are on the beach together (less Pam taking the picture). The beach is right out in front of the resorts with a spectacular view of the ocean. I can't wait to get back to this place and enjoy it!
At this point it is time for us to part ways. David heads back up to Ottawa to be with the still-in-school Heather Lynn and Pam heads on with Reba, Dan, and Jim to Orlanda for a week. After the week in Orlando she will head back to Hilton Head, where the entire Sigler Six can be together again. But I get ahead of myself .. on to future chapters.
